Luminous detailing in the forms of iridescent and gold foil highlights and gilded-gold page edging make this journal shine.
The journal cover reproduces a gold-tooled and painted binding of the Breviarium Romanum, or Roman Breviary, the daily prayers prescribed by the Catholic Church, published by Claude Picques in Lyons in 1556. The stamped centrepiece was a popular design element in decorative bindings in the 16th-century.
This 192-page lined journal contains a ribbon bookmark, acid-free/archival paper, and features binding that lies flat for ease of use.
