The 422nd Quidditch World Cup Foiled Notecard

The 422nd Quidditch World Cup saw Ireland defeat Bulgaria 170-160 in the Final, but is most remembered for the riot that occurred afterwards. The riot broke out when a large group of Death Eaters stormed the campsite, destroying everything in their path, torturing Muggles and Muggle-borns alike. The incident culminated in the "Reappearance of the Dark Mark" and was an event that unnerved much of the magical community.
