Gifted to Harry by Fred and George Weasley, The Marauder's Map became his indispensable guide to exploring every inch of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Designed to look as though the teenage Marauders had scrawled the unflattering image of their classmate, Miraphora Mina experimented with several cartoon versions of Snape's portrait before finally basing the caricature on Alan Rickman, who portrays the formidable character on-screen.
