Join renowned Irish storyteller Brian Walsh, “do scéalaí ceanadach le scéalta éireannacha - your Canadian Teller of Irish Tales”, for an evening of myth and folktale drawn from Ireland’s rich storytelling tradition. Through the rhythms of the spoken word, Brian brings to life a world of powerful gods, restless spirits, strange happenings, and the timeless characters who inhabit the Irish imagination.

Storytelling is one of the oldest forms of entertainment, and hearing these tales told aloud is a rare and captivating experience. Whether you’re drawn to mythology, folklore, or simply the joy of a well-told story, this gathering promises an evening of atmosphere, imagination, and ancient magic.

Host
Brian Walsh is a professional storyteller specializes in Irish Folktales and Mythology as a source of wisdom and humor, discomfort and delight.  Brian’s background is in Psychotherapy, World Religions, and Celtic Studies. He has told at diverse venues including the Toronto International Storytelling Festival, the Niagara Irish Festival, Schools/Universities, and around the campfire under the stars.

Please note that all our facilitators carefully prepare in advance for each event, whether it’s gathering materials, setting up special activities, or creating a memorable experience. For this reason, once purchased, tickets are non-refundable.
