The Art of Reading the Court Cards
We’re delighted to welcome Liz Worth back for the next step in your tarot journey with a deeper dive into one of the deck’s most fascinating - and often most puzzling - elements: the Court Cards.
This workshop is designed for those who already have a basic understanding of tarot. Participants are encouraged to have completed Liz’s Introduction to Tarot workshop, or to have some familiarity with tarot reading and the Rider-Waite Smith system.
For many readers, the Kings, Queens, Knights, and Pages can feel like the most difficult cards to interpret. The Court Cards are incredibly dynamic, but they can also create intuitive blocks for readers who aren’t sure how to approach them.
In this two-hour workshop, Liz will guide you through ways to understand and work with the Court Cards so they become some of the most insightful and expressive cards in your readings.
In this class, you’ll explore:
• What the Court Cards really represent
• How to connect with the energies of all sixteen Court Cards
• Ways to interpret these cards more cofidently within a reading
• How to determine what they mean for you, and more…
This class is BYOD (Bring Your Own Deck)! We recommend a Rider-Waite Smith or a RWS-based deck for the session (Modern Witch, Morgan-Greer, Sharman-Caselli, Universal…), but if you don’t have one, no worries, our shop has a selection of beautiful decks available for purchase before the workshop.
Be sure to bring a pen and notebook for taking notes. Spaces are limited, so pre-registration is required.
This workshop is appropriate for ages 15+.
