Restoration: The Queen's Binding Mini Journal

$19.95

Gracefully pen your thoughts into this mini journal by Paperblanks, a beautiful reproduction of the highest quality 17th-century binding.

Nobility and grace are restored in this striking filigree design, originally crafted by the Queens’ Binder A. The “Queens’ Binder” was a name given to a small group of English bookbinders during the “Golden Age of English Bookbinding.” While the name or names of the binder called “A” are not known, at least one of the artists is thought to be William Nott, an important figure in the book trade who operated as a bookseller, stationer and publisher.

The balance of open space and intricate elements, like the gorgeous frame and harmonious little stars, make it a shining jewel of 17th-century English bookbinding.

This 240-page lined, mini journal includes a memento pouch, ribbon marker, and clasp closure.

Size: 9.5 x 14 x 2.75 cm (3.75 x 5.5 x 1.01 inches)
